i have win xp in C: and win 2003 in D: I also have redhat

I believe the solution lies within Windows. Right click on 'My Computers'.
Select 'Properties'. Click on 'Advanced' tab followed by 'Start up and
recovery' button.
There you will find the various bootable options that Windows give you.
I believe you can select your default Windows version and disable 'display
list of operating systems for n seconds'. This will boot your default Windows
OS when you select DOS in GRUB.
