take the high-ground here...after all, if I remember correctly,
www.debian.org (supposedly the most cutting edge distro),
www.gnome.org(last week) and www.gnu.org (twice) have all been hacked.
Hacking is good thing my friend. Probably you mean by `cracked`.
Nobody is perfect. But we(OSS) strive to be the most perfect of all.
Anyway the arguement Windows (till XP) is *less* secure than any UNIX
is **certainly** TRUE. You can't false it.
I was browsing in a Win2k system in our college library. Seems like I
had downloaded a mail-virus, from that point I was unable to do usefull
things with that computer (even when I was using guest account). Is
this possible with Linux (without root access, of course)?
