There is an IHR project that we will be rolling out (we already had our first
meeting), and I was wondering if you’d like to be a part of it. The project
involves bringing the discussion concerning God from the private sphere in to
the public sphere:
1. Our purpose is not to ‘debate’ but rather initiate open and honest public
discussion.
2. Our team members that will initiate discussion/talks can be from all walks
of life, the criteria to be part of the IHR team is that they are rational
believers in One and Unique God, no matter their affiliation with a religion or
non-religion, so as long as they are rationally convinced of a Singular and
Incomparable Creator.
However, before we can even start this we first need to form a team. For that
we plan to have meetings (next one will be later this month) – in these meeting
we will expose to each other our arguments for God and will discuss. After
numbers of these meetings we hope to form a dedicated team at which point we
plan to approach various organizations/groups (i.e. atheists, agnostics, etc.)
to have public discussions. We're of the firm conviction that it is high time
that we bring this discussion into the public sphere – it is this meaningful
rational discourse on the bigger questions of life that our present day society
is missing and is in desperate need. We've also formed an IHR Email List --
please let me know if you like to be added to it? You'll be updated on all IHR
related projects, meetings, etc thru the IHR email list. See below, our next
meeting is this month -- if you're interested in participating (even though you
reside overseas) we can either conference call or

Next IHR meeting is set for Saturday, April 26 at 1pm in Oakville. If

share your works/thoughts/arguments at the meeting. *Note that these meetings
concern a dynamic project -- to network with other rational believers in one
God (no matter what religion or non-religion they may be affiliated with). In
the tradition of rational Unitarians such as Servetus, Newton and others we
like to bring the discussion concerning God from the private sphere into the
public sphere. It is this meaningful rational discourse on the bigger questions
of life that our present day society is missing.
