Great. One thing - in looking through my notes - if you have any fixed nets,
the parts to which they are attached will still misbehave. You'll have to
unfix the net, rerun the skill program, then you'll be OK.

We've seen this in 14.2 designs that stayed in 14.2 too! Attached is
something that was passed around over 2 years ago that seems to solve the
problem in 14.2. Don't know if it will solve your problem or not...
Good luck.

1) Load the attached program, del_cline_prop.il to current directory or
skill path.

2) At Allegro command line, type skill

3) At Allegro command line, type load "del_cline_prop.il" (note: use
space and quotes)

4) At Allegro command line, type exit

5) At Allegro command line, type dprop

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] traces moving with symbols??? Anybody else see this?

Have run into an odd situation using 15.1...
Designs that were originally done with 14.2 seem to have "sticky" traces
when moving some parts.

If I move a particular part, the traces (etch) on the top layer move right
with the part as if they were part of the part.

I tried it with the "rip up etch" switch on, with the etch layer off, tried
it with different components... some do and some don't retain the traces.
Seems random, but so far my most dense BGA parts and connectors refuse to
leave their top traces behind... they just break the etch off at the first
via, and along it comes.

Anybody else seeing this? Any possible solutions? Have seen this in a
couple of designs now.

very strange.
