What I found with some of the dxf readers is that they choke on files output from Allegro in mils. If you convert the Allegro drawing to inches and then output the dxf the problem goes away. -----Original Message----- From: icu-pcb-forum-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:icu-pcb-forum-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Cheryl Johnson Sent: Wednesday, May 17, 2006 2:00 PM To: icu-pcb-forum@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Cc: Dharma Kemp; Don Gingras Subject: [PCB_FORUM] Re: ipf file issue I have the exact same issue importing newer dxf into ORCAD (or even solidworks and autocad) when it is expecting an older version of dxf. Any help is appreciated. I am using Version 15.2 on an XP operating system on more than one system. On some systems the circles disappear when the ipf is imported into Allegro and mirrored and other systems the circles are retained. The plot settings don't seem to make a difference.
