I'll bet George could write a self destruct skill routine.

Make them sign and NDA then sue their ass if they don't honor it.

Better yet find someone you can trust to work with.

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] Re: Remote Allegro file viewing

Thanks. I did contact them, here is basically what they said;

"But the best way to show your data is remote desktop sharing only. There
is no other secured method by which you can allow your customer to view your
board."

Regards,

Peter

Hello Peter

No immediate solution, but I agree - the protection is useless.

A solution to this should be requested to Cadence. Given some time today I
will do it myself.

Cheers,
Richard

I need to be able to have a customer look at a BRD file without having
possession of the file itself. As at least some of you know the password
protection in Allegro is useless. My customer wants more than PDF files and
I need to protect the data. I want the customer to be able to remotely
access the file and be able to at least use the commands of the free viewer.
Does anyone already have a solution or any suggestions?

Thanks,

Peter
