I have a symbol with a silk shape drawn in along with other things.  Since it is made with as a symbol and not just a shape on the board data, it will have a location on the plc_txt.txt document when I export the placement document from Allegro.  What came to attention is another designer not knowing it is a symbol has moved the silk shape by grabbing shape instead of grabbing the whole symbol which caused problem with the placement document.  Is there a way to make it in the symbol so that I can prevent people from grabbing only the shape?  Please let me know if anyone has any ideas.
