The size difference can be an issue if you have to email your databases though. Jim S. Top/Bottom outer layers are pos 2. Internal Signal layers are pos 3. Internal layers for power planes are neg 4. Internal layers for gnd fill, power return are neg As for dynamic vs. static fill shapes, it's just your call, what you are comfortable working with. As you use both, you will learn when it's best for which one to use, it just depends on your skill level. Hope that helps Blake Moore ADI -----Original Message----- From: icu-pcb-forum-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:icu-pcb-forum-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Dave Schaefer Sent: Friday, July 25, 2008 11:10 AM To: icu-pcb-forum@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [PCB_FORUM] Re: Planes be POSITIVE or NEGATIVE Search the forum archives - there's many many many posts on the benefits of each. > > From: "Jean Bratton" <jean.bratton@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Date: 2008/07/25 Fri AM 10:03:19 CDT > To: <icu-pcb-forum@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Subject: [PCB_FORUM] Re: Planes be POSITIVE or NEGATIVE > > I'm surprised to not see any feedback on this at all!
