I got this error some time back (TEXT LINE OUT OF EXTENTS) and nothing seemed to correct it. After narrowing it down to a symbol, I tried deleting and replacing it with no luck. Ended up re-building the part and that cleared the error, so it was something done at the symbol level. Good Luck! These things always seem to pop up when running artwork... Hi All, I have encountered the following error message while generating gerber files: ERROR IN TEXT LINE origin = (6425.000 -544995.912) class = BOARD GEOMETRY subclass = SILKSCREEN_BOTTOM TEXT LINE OUT OF EXTENTS Error cannot be fixed. ERROR INVALID SECTOR ROW Error cannot be fixed. Regenerating DRC 0 original DRC errors replaced by 0 current DRC errors. 0 warnings, 2 errors detected, 0 errors fixed. Seems (6425.000 -544995.912) is out of range (on my page), can someone teach me how to solve this issue? I'm thinking about using Techfile, Sub-Drawings (excluding the Silkscreen Bottom, which seems to be where the issue is) and regenerate the layout file on a new design. Does anyone know if this will work? Or is there any other way of doing it? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks all! Regards, Judy Huang ATE Resources, Inc.
