Gene,
        The OrCAD website did have OrCAD translators for versions 13.6
        thru 15.2. The OrCAD domain is now re-directed to Cadence, and
        the files can no longer be found. Strangely one of my old links
        to the OrCAD domain still works for the 15.2 converter.

                (Better download this zip file before it disappears)

        Version 15.7 has the ability to import max files directly.
        From the your start menu button goto:

                    ----> Allegro SPB 15.7
                       ---->PCB Editor Utilities
                         ----> OrCAD Layout Translator

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] Is there a ORCAD layout to Allegro convertor?

I know there are companies out there that have convertors for sale, but
since Cadence owns Orcad, do they provide any sort of convertor for the
layout files?

Is there anything free to read and convert the .max files.

Thanks
