[PCB_FORUM] Does Auto Router undersand maximum and minimum length/ratio w.r.t Manhattan length?

 Hi Group,
In Allegro Auto Router pdf document, it is mentioned that length will not be 
more than 140% of the Manhattan length (refer to below statement).
For example, suppose you specify a Minimum. Length of 1.2 and a Maximum Length 
of 1.4. The minimum length of the net can be no lessthan 120% of the Manhattan 
length. The maximum length of the net can be no greater than 140% of the 
Manhattan length.
I tried one experiment and found that Auto Router routed many nets more than 
140% with no conflicts (I kept Minimum value as -1). I am not sure if any one 
saw the same issue or I am doing some thing wrong here. Please share your 
thoughts. Thanks for your time.
