Charlie,
Just a follow-up for the group.
We found that by selecting the "always expand without asking" box in the expand message...it adds the EXPAND_BEFORE_GLOBAL_NAVIGATE 'YES' in my .cpm file as opposed to me adding it manually.

So, we will select this in each project to rid us of the pop-up message in that project.

Thanks again,
Mark

Mark,
If you add what I suggested to the Concept section of the cpm file, you should not be prompted to expand the design. It will expand automatically (you won't be prompted). It needs to expand in order to cross reference, but it only needs to expand once per session.
Hope this helps.

    Julian and Charlie,
    Thanks for your reply.
So you are not aware of a way to NOT have Concept ask to expand
    after hiliting in Allegro?

Usually, if I am simply hiliting / dehiliting things in Allegro, I
do not want to expand my schematic.
I just want it to quit asking me and creating a pop-up in Concept
for EVERY hilite I do in the board.
Very annoying to hit (NO or X) 50 times if you have hilited 50
    nets in the board.

This is all I have in my cpm file under Concept.

    START_CONCEPTHDL
    LOGIC_GRID_TOGGLE 'OFF'
    SYMBOL_GRID_TOGGLE 'OFF'
    DOC_GRID_TOGGLE 'OFF'
    CLICK_TO_TYPE 'OFF'
    PLOT_FIT_TO_PAGE 'ON'
    PAPER_SIZE '135'
    PAPER_ORIENTATION '2'
    PAPER_SOURCE '15'
    WPLOTTER_NAME 'Adobe PDF'
    TAP_ADD_SIGNAL 'ON'
    END_CONCEPTHDL

    Regards,
    Mark

I am also interested in this fix.
One comment though: wouldn't you have to wait forever before all
the nets are expanded?
Just curious.

Mark,
In the concept section of the cpm file set the following:
EXPAND_BEFORE_GLOBAL_NAVIGATE 'YES'
The default value is 'PROMPT'

        Hello all,
Using Concept and Allegro, when I hilite a net in Allegro, I
get the following irritating message in concept.
One message for everything I hilite and I have to click NO or
        (X) on every one of them. This must be done before doing
        anything else in the schematic.

        Pop-up Message reads:
Do you want to expand to see the net in the entire design?

        Any ideas?

        Thanks,
        Mark
