Hi,

I agree totally that the fab house are best placed for DFM actions
in the absence of an analysis tool like Valor Enterprise.

If one is faced with reworking teardrops in allegro simply delete clines with the property
of 'fillet'. Then teardrop again prior to release.

I agree. Once you've performed the teardropping gloss feature, you end
up with thousands of individual C-lines. They're a real pain in the
butt. The fab house can perform this function much better... and if they
can't?.... I'd think about finding a new fab house.

Gloss will add teardrops. Remember to save before
you gloss them in because, if I remember correctly,
they can be somewhat of a pain to work with and
remove once installed.
I've moved to allowing the board house put them in
as they see fit. They have great tools for it and
always get exactly what they want that way.
