I've attached a copy of my path statement. I'll tell you that I also follow the
generic install directions, my OS is also XP, the only thing I don't do is
uninstall old levels. Possibly, the uninstall got carried away and deleted
something you needed. You could try re-installing and see if that might clear
up the problem.
I've see this with the fully functional allegro, and it always occurred when I
had uninstalled a previous version.

Hello Sue,
When I type set in viewer...My menupath is set to look where it always
has for Allegro. Note: it does not include free viewer menu in path.
Wont this collide menus when opening the full Allegro?
