Before I go into more details, Bob, please check your RiscOS
harddrive.  Do you have the following applications on it?

     $.!Boot.Resources.!Ghostscr
     Yes.
     $.!Boot.Resources.!PDF
     Yes.
 or  $.!Boot.Resources.!PDFtest
     No.
     $.Printing.!PrintPDF
     Not quite: see above
     $.Printing.!PS3
     No.

   (PDFsuite, by R-Comp, is a commercial alternative to !PrintPDF.
Current version is 1.09 (date not shown in Plingstore), �20.)
     Bought it, but Steve Fryatt explained they were equivalent, so
stayed with !PrintPDF, which has enabled save PDF from TW effectively.

If, perchance, you have !Taborca or !Riscript in the Resources or
Printing directories, move them out of sight (maybe make a directory
called "$.[obsolete]" ).
     Not there.
Am still baffled, so for now it's back to converting
Draw-with-RiscOS-Font-text via TW to PDF.
