That is not the same as what I described earlier and not the same 
problem that Richard had, unless I misunderstood him. When he wrote 
"the link disappears", I presume he meant that the link is no longer 
blue and underlined and its associated URL is lost, but the link text 
is still there.

A link has a visible text part and an invisible URL. The visible text 
part is always present even when exporting to Word. It is just not a 
link any more.

Typically, the visible text part and the URL are the same anyway, in 
particular in this case where you want to display the URL in the text.
So, in your case, you still see the link in Word. However, in Word 
this is now a special field, not plain text, so at a guess, the 
problem was introduced when copying from Word to the DTP program.
