Okay, firstly for the registration question. After you have run the two update files on their units, if they connect to a network, and choose 6, 6, check for software updates, it will prompt them to register their units. After registration is complete, the unit will connect to the update server and check for software updates. As I understand it, from Marc's message earlier, the 1.1 build 1 update will show up as available for download. they should ignore this and exit to the applications menu as you will have already run it.
As for connecting to your Braille + from your PC, sometimes the easiest way to do this is to type Windows + R and type \\ip address. You can find out what IP Address your Braille + is using by going to the Network Manager, navigating to the currently connected to profile, and pressing the Menu key, and Selecting Details. Under the Mac Address, you'll find IP address. So, once you find it, go to the computer, type Windows + R, then something like \\192.168.1.8. (the actual numbers will depend on your exact IP address) Press Enter, and in a few seconds, if all is connected and set correctly, all of your shared folders should come up.
