Okay, so I deleted my updates folder, went back in and connected to the download server and it said, "1.1 software download complete" and I was returned to the applications menu. Now, I assume something now needs to be installed because I'm still showing version 1.06 build 28. What is the name of the file I need to run?----- Original Message ----- From: "MICHAEL MCCARTY" <mmccarty@xxxxxxx>

Richard,

I have had the same problem and have reset the unit and tried the download again. If this doesn't work, look on the hard drive for an updates folder and delete it. Hopefully, this will reset the Braille+ and allow it to download the update.

Hi Michael, and anyone else on staff at Levelstar or APH,
I'm dealing with the Braille+.
I got to the point of downloading 1.1 build 1 quite successfully it seemed.
It did the registration went fine and I got to the point where it said:
"You will then get the announcement "software version 1.1 Not marked for
download:, and a prompt telling you that you must press Select to mark the
package for
download, then press OK to begin download and installation.
When a system software package is finished downloading, you are prompted to
close all running applications, save your work, and press OK when you're
ready to
continue with the update."

However, when it went out to download 1.1, it said 1.1.lsi, took about 1 or
2 seconds and made the completed sound and put me back to the application
menu.

Now what?

Richard
