What is the console, and is it something we shouldn't touch?
What are the various reset commands for the Braille Plus in order of which
ones should be tried first? reset with a stylus, taking out the battery,
then what?

This is console related stuff and probably shouldn't have been allowed here.
the console is not supported by LevelStar or APH, so these commands are not
anything you should know about if you're not using the console to operate
your unit. For those of you who use the console, this is the exact reason
we do not allow discussion of it on this list--it causes confusion for those
who are just using the Icon/Braille + software. Please try to address these
things on the tech list, or if someone has a question regarding the console
that you think you want to answer, please address it off list.

I don't know anything about the commands mentioned in these posts. I think,
therefore, that these
essoteric commands and the meaning of some obscuffe folders we have should
be explained thoroughly in
the manual.
I'm truly amazed at how many of you have figured out some of these arcane
items!
