Yes, worked before. When you say opposite end, not sure where you mean? -----Original Message----- From: icon-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:icon-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of PAMELA RADER Sent: Monday, July 02, 2007 8:59 AM To: icon-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [icon-discuss] Re: microphone problem Hi Bill: Did the microphone work prior to this incident? They are actually on the opposite end. They are very easy to break. The other day as I was removing the Icon from its leather case the bottom front lip opposite the battery compartment fell off. I snapped it back into place...only now I can't seem to do any recording with the internal mike. I have the Icon set to internal mike, and I have tried every setting from automatic voice level to the highest level. All I get in the recordings is a hiss. I assume the internal microphone was hiding under that lip. How can I tell if it's missing or broken or what? Thanks.
