[icon-discuss] case not getting warm

Hi,

I think it was Chase who mentioned related to the charging question that it is
a good thing that the case
does not get warm. Actually, there is a slight temperature rise along the
sides of the
case.

Theoretically it's best if the case did get nearly as warm as the PDA. This is
because that
would mean that heat is conducted away from the unit, lowering its temperature.

The heat buildup is not sufficient to cause problems. Moreover, the case is
open on
top, where the keys are. This means that heat can escape from there. Remember
that heat rises.

I hope this is of a little interest.
