it shows up as a USB disk in the File Explorer. I think that's what you wanted to know.

There is a compact flash card reader that plugs to a usb connector. I have
one, and use it to transfer audio files to another device called a book
port. But it would be interesting to know if the braille plus would treat
said compact flash card as just another disc, since you're not trying to
connect it directly to the unit, but to the reader itself.

Listers,
I have heard that there exists a card-reader that can be plugged into a USB
port. Does anyone know if this is true. If so, is that something that I
can plug into the icon and read data off of a compact flash card?
Thanks.
Robert
