sounds ok to me. He should make sure his connection is established. I'm getting the same DB reading on my connections. His computer bookshare ID and password should work. Hey larry,My friend has a Braille Pluss and is having difficulty logging into Bookshare. His network is linksys but he is getting 80db to 74 db but it says connected. We hit 33 to select an author and when we try to log in it says log in failed. His email and password appear to be right and we have saved it. He has an account with bookshare. He should use the password that gets him into bookshare on his regular computer. When listing books by author, Mitchener for example, the Icon server doesn't always list all the books. However, if I go to BookShare directly from either the Icon's browser, The PC running Internet Explorer, or the Mac running Safari, I always get a complete list of book titles as searched by author. The Icon appears to miss many of the titles. I'm not sure however, if this is consistent or not.
