You have to use the backup utility from the utilities menu.
From the application menu, hit 6,7.
Arrow to the date of your backup that you wish to restore. Press select.
The first item will be "restore backup."
Press select and you are on your way.

Hi,
Could someone tell me how to successfully restore a backup I made? What I
did was went through the file explorer and browsed to my backup folder and
opened it and tried to restore my backup and my Icon told me that it don't
know how to open that file. Why is it telling me this?
