Hi Jenny,

Beautiful! That will certainly do the trick.

It's expected behavior. After you have pressed the initial letter of the
item you are looking for, the unit expects you to continue typing the
letters of the file or folder you are looking for, and continues to take you
closer to that item as you do this. So, if you're looking for a file called
proposal.doc, and you go to the file open prompt and type p, you'll get to
podcasts, if you type ro, you'll go to Problems, but finally, after typing
the second p in proposal, you'll get to it. If you don't like to go through
all your folders first, you can change the sort option in File Explorer to
have these appear at the bottom of the list rather than the top.

Hope that helps,
Jenny

Hi,

Is this a possible bug or is it supposed to act this way? Namely, after
opening the word processor and doing a control-o for open and getting the
message "select a document to open" and hitting the letter p, I am taken to
the podcast folder. Hitting the letter p again does not take me down into
the files on the hard drive or to any other folder beginning with the letter
p. It would seem to me that the search should continue and not just stop on
the first occurrence?
