Alan, I am delighted you solved the error 500 problem. this is neither a
Bookshare error nor it is a Levelstar/APH error.

 

If you change password to access a web site or web service, you should
ensure that all devices/computers/browsers that you use to reach that
service have an updated password.

To those who might be interested in the solution to my error:

http500 internal server error

it turns out that I had changed my password on Book Share while renewing my
membership and forgotten to change the password on the Braille+. I suspect
that this is a Book Share error, but if it happens to any of you, you now
know the solution.

Alan, on occasion Bookshare servers are inoperative.  We do not use the
Bookshare website as an interface.  We access Bookshare through a backroom
API.  If the Bookshare service is not available, it is best to contact

Good morning,

 

Although Book Share is up and working, I have been unable to download either
books or newspapers getting an http500  internal server error. Could one of
the servers be out? Do we use a special server to get material from Book
Share?
