Hi:

I have done NLS downloads both ways, and don't see much of a difference in
the time it takes to complete them. A lot depends on the size of the book,
site traffic and signal strength. My personal preference is to download
directly to the Braille Plus because of the convenience. I can keep track
of progress where ever I am without having to go back to the computer.
Since separating myself from my device would most likely involve surgical
removal <grin>, direct download makes perfect sense for my needs.

Hi Kathy:

I have not tried downloading directly onto the device, as it took 45 minutes
on the PC. I don't know how long it'll take on there. I've also wondered
about the flood ...

Good luck!

Hi all! This is my first attempt at responding to a message using my br

Question: I am downloading four files from nls, and for the past half hour

complete." Do you think we're blowing out NLS'S websid? hhahaha! Or is
there something else I can do short of closing my browser which I can't seem
to do and start again.
