Hi: I have done NLS downloads both ways, and don't see much of a difference in the time it takes to complete them. A lot depends on the size of the book, site traffic and signal strength. My personal preference is to download directly to the Braille Plus because of the convenience. I can keep track of progress where ever I am without having to go back to the computer. Since separating myself from my device would most likely involve surgical removal <grin>, direct download makes perfect sense for my needs. Hi Kathy: I have not tried downloading directly onto the device, as it took 45 minutes on the PC. I don't know how long it'll take on there. I've also wondered about the flood ... Good luck! Question: I am downloading four files from nls, and for the past half hour or so, status has been saying "waiting for host, downlading friend files 65 complete." Do you think we're blowing out NLS'S websid? hhahaha! Or is there something else I can do short of closing my browser which I can't seem to do and start again.
