Got this today on one of my feeds:

http://linuxdevices.com/articles/AT3329252460.html

It's a small PDA with no display. It uses audio input/output
(supplimented with a rubber membrane numeric keypad with a few
other buttons and a D-pad). There's also an available "dock"
which is bascially a small keyboard into which the PDA slides on
the right-hand side like an old-school Atari cartridge or
something of the sort.

And of most interest for this mailing list, it runs embedded
linux. They say most of the software was written in python which
makes it fairly hackable.

It's pricey, but still, interesting to see what's being done.
