  Hi Stacey and list,

While it is true that you can open an html file in the word processor, if you
do, you loose the ability to work with the html markup. For example, if you
open an html file that has links within it, you can't click on the link in the
wordprocessor and jump to the appropriate place in the file.

It is possible to open an html file in the web browser which will allow you
to take advantage of the html markup.

  1. Open the web browser from the internet menu. If you are not connected to
the internet, the browser will tell you that it can't load the home page and
you will need to press ok.
  2. Press control-o to open a new web page.
  3. To open an html file on the local hard drive of the icon or braille plus,
type /media/hdd/name of folder/name of file Of course you type in the name of
the folder and the name of the file that you want to open. When you press ok,
the file will load in the web browser. You can then browse it like you would a
web page.

    Hi all,
Can the Braille Plus read Html files?
If so, how do I open them?
