Paul:

The 100% message is normal (for now), and will happen when copying any single
large file to any location. In other words, it isn't related to networking at
all. If you copy that large file to another file on the hard disk, you will get
the same message.

Thanks, Rob. I just tried it before I replied to this message and it indeed
does help. I can connect a second time.
I would like to report one issue, however.
It might be a bug. It might be just my not understanding how things work.
I decided to copy Jenny's troubleshooting podcast to my hard drive.
I selected it on my icon and marked it.
I went to the folder on my pc where I wanted to copy it.
I pressed the menu key and selected copy here.
I pressed status twice and was told that 100 percent of the file had been
copied, but didn't receive a complete message for a minute or two.
I have seen this before with individual files.
Thanks.

I recommend disconnecting any network folders through the menu when you are
through using them. This should prevent the problems you are having.

Hi, Rob. Could you guide me through this a little bit? This is kind of new
to me.
As I mentioned to Pam, I don't usually connect to my network folders unless
I want to transfer something between my braille plus and pc.
But your suggestion makes me ask another question I was thinking of posting
today.
I have noticed that if I go to my network folders, I hear "Paul Henrichsen -
disconnected".
Now, if I try to connect, It connects. I can transfer. If I then turn off
wireless but later decide to turn it back on and try reconnecting, it won't
connect. It just sits there.
Should I always disconnect through the menu options so that I can connect
the next time?
Hope this makes sense.
Thanks.

Paul:

The problem is that a once connected network folder is no longer connected,
either because wireless is off, or you are out of range of the network
containing the connected folder. I recommend using the Disconnect option for
network folders you are not using; this will clear up the problem.

Hi, guys.

I was going to post a question on one concern last week, but I thought it
might just be AT&T. But, now, there is something else and I am wondering if
I need to reflash.

With AT&T, I noticed last weekend that when I pressed menu and select to
send and receive mail, it took probably 20 seconds or so to start
downloading the email.

I didn't hear anything saying that mail was being received for that 20
seconds or so.

However, last night, I wanted to record something quickly. I pressed the
record button on my braille plus and heard the beep, but nothing happened
for a while. It then finally said recording.

Again, probably 20 seconds or more.

When I saved the recording, it took a while also before I was placed in the
recordings list.

Everything else seems to work at normal speed but these two things.

Any ideas?
