Richard,
to get the status of the download, hold the status button and then press
cancel to leave the menu and the status of the download will be announced.
Probably a typo and you can just do 1.1 since you have .28 installed and
registered.

Two questions.
I'm stuck with the system updater on my Braille+.
There is no indication what it is doing other than hearing "system updater"
when I double click the status button.
Since 1.06.28 is installed and the unit said it was registered, can I just
down load 1.1 and install it assuming this is not working?
And, the web site says version 1.06.26, not 1.06.28 for the first part; is
that a typo?

To help with some of the bandwidth issues we have made 1.1.1 available to
download.
First download 1.06.28 and install and then download 1.1.1 and install it.
After you have 1.1.1 installed you can register your unit.
