Hi Masters of Business Administration,
What is happening on the July 18th program. Absolutely cold responses. Some
confirmed their presence and some confirmed their inability to attend. I
understand that all are very busing learning.
Shall we get a T shirt printed with our Batch name printed as a souvenir?

Dear Joseph,
If we can get one set of copies, others can copy from that. Will you please
look into that. If the book has 100 - 200 pages, the copying & binding charges
would be Rs. 400.00. A PIM member can borrow from the library, probably Mrs.
Ranjani Gunatilleke.
Its another very innovative idea. Good.........

Dear Friends,
We have a common weakness of writing reports or presenting reports. Last time
Mr. Ajith Mendis pointed out during Int. Mktg that we lacked experience in
presenting reports. Last Saturday Mr. Moosaje of FSA also criticized
severely of our poor written presentation skill.
I believe as an MBA we should be able to write reports both academic and
business. I have a suggestion, that Mr. Mendis recommended a book written by
Prof. Gunapala on writing reports, this is a PIM publication and very few
copies are available. It is priced at Rs. 2,500.00, as members of elite club we
contribute Rs. 500.00 each, will buy the book.
Immediately after the exam, each of us keep the book for 1 week go through
thoroughly as first round. Again we can go through for 2nd round if needed.
Once everyone has gone through, the book will be auctioned among the members
for Rs. 1,500 - 2,000 and the amount will be shared or spent on a lunch. Its an
opportunity to meet after exam.
We can also practice writing reports and check among ourselves as per book.
This will help us to be in touch with our learning.
If agreeing to the proposal, please send me the money soon. You can deposit
into my bank account.
