Dear Colleagues and Friends,
2020 is coming to an end, a year that for many due to Covid -19 was not easy.
We at ICEVI-Europe, take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones our
warmest greetings for the Holidays and a blessed New Year!
May this New Year be coronafree, filled with health, happiness and prosperity
and may 2021 bring solidarity, peace and hope to the entire world.
In the spirit of the season, we extend our sincerest gratitude to each and
every one of you for supporting ICEVI-Europe in our joint effort to strengthen
knowledge and research in the field of education and rehabilitation of people
with visual impairment.
One of our main goals for the coming year is to continue to stimulate the
ICEVI-Europe Professional Interest Groups by organizing successful meetings and
conferences of these Interest Groups, in addition to, working closely with the
Israeli Host Committee on the preparations of the 10th European Conference.
Unfortunately ,at this moment, we are unable to specify a new date for the
conference.
We encourage you to visit the homepage of the ICEVI-Europe website to follow
actual information of our upcoming events, as it becomes available. We also
invite you to submit articles and announcements to the Coordinator of our ICEVI
European Newsletter, Andrea Hathazi (ahathazi@xxxxxxxxx), identifying any
special events, news, projects, activities, scientific work, research or good
practices undertaken by your organization in your country in the field of
visual impairment, in order to be published in the future issues of our ICEVI
European Newsletter. We hope that 2021 will be the year in which we can
achieve this jointly, together with you and your valuable contributions and
support.
