Dr Christine Roman-Lantzy, American author of the book ‘Cortical Visual
Impairment: An Approach to Assessment and Intervention’, will present her
work on Cerebral Visual Impairment (CVI) over two days. This will include:
- Defining and looking at the causes of CVI.
- An approach to CVI Assessment.
- Intervention and strategies.
- Case studies.
- Christine Roman-Lantzy’s work with teachers and the ‘inclusion’ agenda
in the USA.
There will also be opportunities to ask questions.
Target Audience
All those working with children with cerebral visual impairment, complex
needs, including Teachers, Additional Support Needs Assistants, Early Years
Practitioners, Allied Health Professionals including Paediatricians,
Educational Psychologists, Habilitation and Rehabilitation Specialists and
Parents
