IBIS Community,
I am sorry to pass on a message after reading many of Lynne’s optimistic
posts regarding her battle with leukemia:

This is Kelly Green Posting to Lynne's Facebook friend list.
Many of you already know this, but for those who don't, I am sorry to report
that Lynne lost her battle with leukemia this past Sunday morning. She fought
her illness bravely, but it won out in the end. She passed peacefully in her
sleep, surrounded by family and friends.
There will be a memorial this coming Saturday, November 12, at 1PM, at
Marlatt funeral home of Kent, Washington.
http://www.marlattfuneralhome.com
I will have an open house following the memorial for anyone who wishes to
spend some time socializing among her friends. Directions will be provided at
the service.
If you plan on attending, please drop me an email at
kelly.green@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, so I have a rough idea of whom to
expect. Sorry, but I don't Facebook.
For those of you attending, I ask is that you bring a happy memory of Lynne
that you would be willing to share. If you are unable to speak (I know I
can't) there will be a book in which you can write down your favorite memory.
Should anyone wish to make a charitable gift in Lynne's memory, her favorite
charity was Project Linus.

Lynne was well-known in the IBIS and SI community in her roles with EDA
companies.
She served as Vice-chair of IBIS from 2002 to 2004.
She was a co-author with Roy Leventhal of “Semiconductor Modeling,” which
covered much of IBIS.
She was also a technical consultant and teacher.
She also authored “Fiber Optics Communication” based on her teaching and PhD
work.
She was a very nice person, and we will miss her.
