The Editorial Task Group decided today to recommend to the IBIS Open Forum to
change the following sentence:

"If [C Comp Corner] is present, its value or values override any other C_comp*
representations."

to

"If [C Comp Corner] is present, its subparameters take precedence over any and
all C_comp, C_comp_* subparameters of [Model]."

in the upcoming IBIS v6.1 specification that is scheduled for an approval vote
on September 11.

The following somewhat pathological example illustrates how this rule would be
applied:

[Model] C_comp_test

C_comp_pullup 2.0p 1.0p 3.0p

[C Comp Corner]

C_comp_pulldown 4.0p 8.0p 2.0p

In the example, if [C Comp Corner] is supported by the EDA tool, only the
C_comp_pulldown values would be used in simulation and C_comp_pullup would be
ignored. If [C Comp Corner] is NOT supported by the EDA tool, only the
C_comp_pullup values would be used in simulation.
