Due to the recent resignation of the IBIS Librarian, I have temporarily
appointed Zhiping Yang of Google to fill the position (based on the IBIS
Policies and
Procedures<https://ibis.org/policies/IBIS_policies_procedures.pdf>).
A special election is being held to officially elect the next IBIS Open Forum
Librarian. The elected officer will hold the position until the next IBIS
officer election process starts in May 2021. The election is open to anyone
wishing to be nominated for the position. The election schedule is as follows:
October 9, 2020 through October 22, 2020 - nomination period
October 23, 2020 through October 29, 2020 - voting period
October 30, 2020 - announcement of the results
Candidates need to be nominated by e-mail to the Returning Officer:
