[ibis] IBIS 6.1 ratification vote this Friday

IBIS Community,

The agenda sent last week for the IBIS Open Forum teleconference this
Friday includes an important item, the ratification vote for IBIS 6.1
<http://www.eda.org/ibis/ver6.1_wip/ver6_1_draft_rev3.pdf> . Voting
members are encouraged to cast their vote either in the teleconference or
by email. The document was posted for review on August 16th, however the
IBIS Editorial Task Group has since issued an editorial clarification that
is expected to result in this motion Friday:

To ratify the IBIS 6.1 draft document updated 16 Aug 2015, changing "If [C
Comp Corner] is present, its value or values override any other C_comp*
representations" To "If [C Comp Corner] is present, its subparameters take
precedence over any and all C_comp, C_comp_* subparameters of [Model]" on
page 51, as the official IBIS 6.1 specification.

IBIS members in good standing but unable to attend Friday may vote on the
motion by email to IBIS Secretary Randy Wolff (rrwolff@xxxxxxxxxx), "Yes"
(to ratify), "No" (to not ratify), or "abstain", until the roll call vote
takes place. Please CC me. As always we are hoping to "see" everyone in
the teleconference!
