It seems that they rearranged their plans a little and there will be one or two interim revisions for Verilog-AMS before the big version change. This means that there will be a v2.3 and perhaps more before v3.0 appears. The good news is that the request I made for allowing string parameters for the $table_model's file name argument will most likely be addressed. The bad news is that this may only become official around DAC2006 (in July).
