Google "signal ground". is what we have been calling "local ground", and
you will get the following picture:
Google "local ground" and it returns nothing to do with electronics other
than "Local Ground is the ninth studio album by Irish folk music
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Folk_music_of_Ireland> group Altan
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altan_(band)> , released in March 2005 on
the Narada <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narada_Productions> label.",
which can be played on electronic audio equipment.
The word "local" appear in IBIS 6.1, and never in the context of a local
ground or reference.
I therefore suggest that we consistently use "signal ground" instead of
"local ground" in both BIRD 158 and 189.

Subject: [ibis-macro] New BIRD draft for replacing BIRD158.7
In today's ATM teleconference I took an AR to start a new BIRD that would
replace BIRD158.7. The attached BIRD draft is my first attempt for that
I took the approved BIRD158.7 and changed its file name along with some of
the header information. The only other thing I changed was the text
to the reference nodes of the Touchstone models. I did all this with
Changes turned on, so that it would be easy to find my changes. I can add
anyone's name on the top who wants to be listed as a requestor.
Please review and reply with questions/comments.
Wil will most likely need to make changes to the
