The use of the Rx_Recovery_* parameters in AMI is somewhat mystifying. It's
clear from the specification that Rx_Clock_Recovery parameters are only used
where GetWave is not used *or* when clock ticks are not generated.
However, the critical question is how parameters such as Rx_Rj, etc. should be
treated if GetWave *is* used, the model does not return clock_times *and*
Rx_Clock_Recovery_* parameters are used?
In other words, one would expect jitter already in the Rx_Rj, etc. parameters
could be double-counted if Rx_Clock_Recovery_* parameters are present. Are we
simply to assume that the model maker has properly accounted for jitter in both
sets of parameters, and that the tool will always get the budget calculations
right?
