I am enclosing Draft2 of the DUT_ref_term BIRD. I am also enclosing a
spreadsheet that Bob sent out on 3/25/16 with a column added for the
allowed values of the DUT_ref_term subparameter, and my interpretation of
A_gnd.
As you see, I chose the same terminal names as used in [Receiver
Thresholds]. These are the same names (except case of the first letter)
as used in [Pin Mapping]. I would strongly recommend that the Interconnect
BIRD be changes to be consistent with both DUT_ref_term and [Receiver
Thresholds]. This would leave only [External Model] terminal names as the
outlier.
I would also suggest that the DUT_ref_term be changed to
Reference_terminal. Note that [External Reference] and Ext_ref are not
forbidden for Drivers, IBIS only says it is used only for non-driver modes
(e.g.):
