Walter, I would much rather discuss the merits and deficiencies of the proposal than discuss who supports it etc. To answer you, however, I must say that your assumption that Cadence is the only member of the committee that supports these BIRDs is factually incorrect. The BIRDs have been drafted in consultation with IBM and they are even listed as co-authors on one of them. There have been several occasions when people in the ATM have voiced their support for 1 or both the BIRDs at different points. Thanks, Ambrish. I really do insist that we get members of the IC Vendor community and IBIS user community to show their support for these BIRDs before we waste any more of the IBIS-ATM committee time on them. However, I think the people in the ATM committee are capable of making a decision in this regard. The issue is clear and our proposal is on the table for discussion. I think that you need an IC Vendor to come to an ATM meeting and explain the problem you are trying to solve and why specifically BIRD 116 does not address the IC Vendor's needs. I therefore think BIRD 144 should be tabled until such time as you get an IC Vendor to defend it.
