ah thanks! i knew i had something missing but i couldn't find it. i added that
but it still didn't work, so just removed the action cost and it did it.

That's because you didn't put movement_cost=1 in the skill file. You
just put actions cost in there.

Also, just tested the thing with a new map that I made in five
minutes. The named enemy unit's death was supposed to cause you to

Yes, you can.
victory_ccditions death=Bob
Assuming your unit's name is Bob. Replace that with whatever
the name is.
