Hi Jarek,

I think you need to have each game setup with a different email.
You can delete the Settings/Profile.dat file if you need to change the
email the game is setup with.

Hi Jarek,

I worked very hard on the multiplayer feature but ended up getting
burned out on it.
It is not very polished but it does work for the basic scenario and is
probably fine if you're playing with people you know.
It should work in Tactical Battle version 1.13 dev 15.
Since it is not polished and I don't intend on releasing it in a stable

version it is hidden from the player.
To get into multiplayer you open the game, which places you in the main

menu.
Then press control + shift + M.
This will log you into the multiplayer server. If you have never done
it before you will have to set your alias or nickname.
Once logged in there are 3 options:
1 create game
2 join a game
3 continue a previous game
Option number 3 does not work at all.
Option number 1 and 2 do work.
When you create a game you can choose any map from any map pack but
realize that custom victory and defeat conditions do not work when
playing maps in multiplayer so it makes sense to only choose a map that

has the default conditions which is to completely destroy the enemy.
I recommend trying one of the getting started maps for your first time,

maybe defeating your dark side since you and your opponent ar eevenly
matched in that map.
Once you've named your game and chosen a map you can press the create
game option in the create game menu and it takes you to the pre game
menu.
In the pre game menu all the player slots are available and you can
choose your slot by pressing enter on it.
Other players can do the same.
And if you want AI in a slot then you press shift + A while that slot is

selected.
You can start the game once you have chosen a slot and one other slot is

filled with either another player or AI.
For the best experience both players should have the map you are
playing. If one does not I believe the game still works but they will
miss out on all the custom sounds and music.

You can chat at any time in multiplayer by pressing control + enter to
type your message but since there is no sound that plays with a chat
message it is easy for the other players to miss it so skype is probably

a better option.

So all in all I think I'm giving you a lot of bad news lately, smile.
Sorry about that.

Sorry about that Jarek. I got lazy and should have checked the spelling

of
your name. Please forgive me for that.

As for multiplayer maps, it is like this.
Any map can be played as a multiplayer map. I think what happens is
that the
players simply choose teams. So for example in zombie house, you can
play
the survivors and the other player can play the zombies. In command
and
conquer, two or more players can play either the Russians, americans or

the
Japanese.
What Keys was full (his name is carlos) his angry birds map was made
especially for multiplayer. In other words, he designed it on purpose
to be
a fight between two players. I have not tried to play it, but Carlos
is
really good at coming up with great off beat map packs.

As to how to get into a multiplayer game, I don't know. I guess you
should
check the game lay guide on how to do it. I am not much of a
multiplayer
myself, I like to play games on my own for the most part.

Good luck with that.

Hi Jherec,
Here is the skill flag for changing terrain.

.replace_terrain=, takes oldTerrain|newTerrain and causes the skill
to
replace the old terrain type with the new one. You can specify
multiple
replacement groups by separating them with commas. Such as:
grass|burnt_grass,tree|burnt_tree

So, if you wanted to be able to "destroy" a bridge, you could have a
unit
possess a skill that can change a bridge terrain into whatever it is
crossing over, for example water.

This then can put the terrain you want in, and give the range bonus
you
would like. A structure would not be as good as simply changing the
terrain, in my opinion.

I think you should consider Craig's and Carlos's multiplayer maps, and

dig
around in the files and play the maps to see what they did.
