I hadn't even thought of terrain.
I assume different terrain would be easier to view with different colors as
well? I got my work cut out for me, lol.
Right not I got 13 factions, each has roughly 11 units and can have up to
10 or so structures.
Would it help if structures for the same team had maybe a shade of the same
color to help differentiate them from the units?
For example, royal blue compared to a dark blue?

Hi Allan,
Well, I think unique colours are cool. i.e you could have a red team, a
greeny coloured team, a blue one, a pink one (maybe!), a brown team, a black
team (perhaps not fully black but close, like #050505), any sort of
different colours would work. The only thing you need to keep an eye on is
that you don't start using the same colours for terrain and teams.
