Hi,
The recent error post to the list reminded me of a strange issue I've
noticed recently with my laptop. I run Windows 7 64bit and have 2gb of RAM.
Usually, when I shut down my laptop, it takes about 30 seconds.
Recently, on two separate occasions, I have shut down my laptop and it
has taken nearly half an hour to finish the process. Both times, TB was
the last application I used actively before closing down. It has not
happened any other time before, between or after these incidents, and
once I worked out the apparent common denominator I avoided it. I don't
want my computer to struggle to shut down like that again, and it's
quite harrowing for me when it happens. I've had bad experiences with a
previous computer that kept crashing to the point where we'd have to
reinstall the OS and I lost all the progress on things I'd been working on.
Has anyone else noticed this with their own devices? Note that this only
seems to happen if TB is the last app you use before shutting the
machine down.
