Hi all,

I've been around, just busy. But I've occasionally been keeping an eye on
this mailing list just in case people came back to it.

Mad crazy optimisations sounds good to me, nice work Ian! Now I guess I'd
better go make a 1000 x 1000 C&C map or something. Did you learn any cool
optimisation tips whilst doing this, Ian?

Someone mentioned portals between maps. From a scripting side of things, I
don't think it can be done. Perhaps if we saved something into a JSON object
and wrote it to disc, and looked for it on the next map, deserialized it and
put it back into the program, maybe, it could work.
But I'd imagine it'd not be easy for me or Ian. I wouldn't count on it in
the near future.

I also tried Allan's Warlords map. I like it! I haven't tried the newer
versions with buildings and stuff yet, so I'd imagine I'll like that one
even more. I haven't spent enough time to beat a map yet, but I'll assume
that wil come in time. Nice work.

All the best,

Craig
