I've fixed that crashing bug in dev 35.The conversion actually worked just fine but the engine didn't handle an add_skills flag with an empty value.
It does now though. Ian Reed On 9/4/2013 1:56 PM, Ian Reed wrote:
Interesting. That file is not used so you can delete it.But I'll have a look at why it broke things anyway so it doesn't cause problems for other map packs being upgraded. Thanks Allan! It has something to do with the equipment cabinet.I never noticed this before. Is this essential for anything, or can I justdelete it? al -----Original Message----- From: ian-reeds-games-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ian-reeds-games-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Ian Reed Sent: Wednesday, September 04, 2013 1:52 AM To: ian-reeds-games@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ian-reeds-games] TB 1.13 dev 33Dev 33 adds the feature to auto-convert your map pack files to version 10.First backup your map pack just in case. After opening the game choose "Play a map campaign".Use the arrow keys to find your map pack, then press control + U to upgradeit to the latest version. This converter will upgrade units, structures, skills, effects, items, terrain, regions, points, and damage types. It does not upgrade the actual map file. That must be done by saving themap in the map editor as mentioned previously. There are a few other files it does not upgrade because they do not yet support parser version 10, such as teams, map pack settings, and default flag files. It also fixes a few bugs with the upgraded versions of the files. Ian Reed
