Yep, I'll get multiplayer for dev 23 working soon.

Today was the first day of school. My computer was out of commission today, but it’ll be up and ready to go tomorrow. My first map will be a version of capture the flag. I’l probably make a version for multiplayer, and then another version to play against the computer. I want to make it more complex than just fighting your way to the flag. You’ll have to actually take it back to your own side like in the actual game, while preventing your own flag from being captured. I the multiplayer version ‘ll probably give the players a more or les equal force of fighters, and it will be the job of the more strategically minded player to deploy his players most effectively. For the computer though, I wish I could place units in a random box location like between, say, 3 3 and 5 4 so that the layout would be a bit randomized. Barring that though, you will be able to beat the computer map and then always beat it the same way probably. That makes me think aobut making multiple computer maps with a different strategy for each one, perhaps. It would provide more entertainment. But yeah, capture the flag is an idea not yet thought of, and it will be available for both the single and multiplayer side of things. Ian, can you allow dev 23 into multiplayer? I would hate to have to play on dev 15, which doesn’t have the speed optimizations you put in to dev 16 and beyond. But yeah, that’s my plan. I’ve also loaded up a pair of sound libraries onto my computer at school, and I can’t wait to ue them. Before now I used to put in the sounds at home, but at home I had other things to do besides tb. At cshool I don’t have much else to occupy empty time beside tb, so I focus more on it. I can’t wat to show this pack to the public. It’s gonna rock hard core!
